MALORIE REID
is a Black Floridian writer who writes at the intersection of memory and unlearning.
She holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York (CUNY), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida.
She loves Prince like she loves Great Uncle Jimmy Baldwin like she loves Mama Toni.
She is a 2021 Miami Book Fair Emerging Writer Fellowship honorable mention in fiction, and a 2021 semi-finalist for the Key West Literary Seminar Cecelia Joyce Johnson Award, also in fiction.
